I have been writing since I was a kid, writing is my therapy, I speak about real issues, real life problems, I speak about my pain. I don’t mind sharing my story because it not only helps me but I know someone listening will be helped by my truth. I also have some songs where I stunt a little bit and talk about trendy topics but my best songs are when I am speaking from the heart. My top 3 favorite artists and inspiration comes from Tupac (Rest In Peace), DMX and Z-RO. Those brothas speak their pain and their music speaks to my soul. I don’t listen to a lot of new artist but some newer artist I rock with are J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Wale, & Cal Wayne out of H-Town. I love these artists because I can relate to their music. Tupac rapped with compassion and he told stories in his music. Z-Ro, Cal Wayne, J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Wale & DMX remind me of me when I hear their music. They speak about their pain and things they have experienced and seen. That’s what I do with my music. Music has always been my passion, I can’t see myself being a “rapper” and having fame. I feel like I have a story and I just want to be heard. I feel like I was given the gift of writing and I have grown so much with my delivery so that I can be the voice for the youth and give them a balance in this muSICK game. There is so much of the same kind of music and message. So I try and bring something unique and different when I rock the mic. I want to give people who listen to my music something to think about and by me speaking from my soul I want to speak to theirs. I hope you enjoy my Tales From A Kween Feel free to leave me comments and feedback I would 13appreciate your thoughts.
