Youth Spot Light Of The Week (Gabrielle Turnquest)

The University of Law graduate Gabrielle Turnquest, 18, will become the youngest person in the history of the English and Welsh legal system to be called to The Bar after passing The University of LawÕs Bar Professional Training Course. Her achievement will be formally recognised at a call ceremony at the Honourable Society of LincolnÕs Inn on Tuesday 30th July 2013 in London.

This story really touched my heart. When I was young I remember telling my gram I wanted to be a Lawyer. When I went back to school over 3 years ago my main reason for obtaining my Bachelors was so I could start Law school. Since then I have transitioned and soul searched and found my life purpose and no longer desire to be a lawyer. But to read about this Beautiful sista just touched my soul!!

18 yr old Gabrielle Turnquest recently became the youngest person to pass the bar exam in the UK. She tells Telegraph “I am honored to be the youngest person to pass the Bar exams but, really, I was not aware at the time what the average age was.” “I didn’t fully realize the impact of it.”

The average age of a typical lawyer graduating from The University of Law’s Bar Professional Training Course is 27, according to The University of Law’s records. This seems to be a Family Affair because Gabrielle’s sister Kandi also took the UK Bar exam at the age of 22.This isn’t Gabrielle’s first time making history. The Florida teen was also the youngest to graduate with a degree from Liberty University in Virginia at the age of 16. Her ultimate goal is to build a career as a fashion law specialist. I am so proud of this sista and others like her living there Dreams and not letting age stop them from striving to live our their life purpose!! This story was so inspirational to me and I hope it will be the same for you!!! Congratulations Queen I wish you much success and Prosperity in ALL you endeavors!!
