Youth Tip #5 (Budgeting)

We all love money but how can we ensure that we keep money? I will be providing tips you can use to help you learn to Budget. I wish someone would of given me this information when I was younger.

First: Become conscious of what you spend your money on each month. You can make a list of “everything” you buy in one month so you are tracking how much money you spend. Some things really sneak up on you, such as vending machine purchases, or fast food. Let’s say you buy twenty dollars worth of snacks from the vending machine each month. For about ten dollars less, you can probably buy those snacks from your local grocery store and simply stock them in your kitchen or locker.
